Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport that combines ballet, dance, and acrobatics. The athletes are expressive in their movements and have perfect body control. In a routine lasting no more than one and a half minutes, performed on a 13×13 meter floor with musical accompaniment, gymnasts express feelings and emotions using hand-held apparatuses such as ropes, hoops, balls, clubs, and ribbons.
