International debut of RG Frauenfeld

At the international competition in Widen, RG Frauenfeld made its debut on the international stage through Sonia Kovalenko. Together with her coach Carolin Welsch, 12-year-old Sonia traveled to the canton of Aargau to present her new routines.

The competition was intense, as in addition to Swiss gymnasts, athletes from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Great Britain, and Turkey also participated. With an expressive and elegant hoop routine, Sonia secured 4th place in this strong field of competitors. We congratulate Sonia and her coach Carolin on this achievement.

The season has just begun, and already next weekend, a new international event is approaching. We wish Sonia good preparation and much success for the upcoming competition.
